We had a great Easter this year, especially with it being Aubrey's first Easter! As you can see in the pictures she loved getting into her Easter basket and trying to get her gifts out. Aubrey was in such a good mood all day on Easter, however she didn't care much about trying to pick up eggs. LOL

CONGRATS!!
First I would like to give a big Congratulations to our friends Josh & Christie on the arrival of their adorable baby boy "Ryder Tripp Gilispie!" We are so very happy for you guys and Aubrey says she loves her new little buddy!
Second Congrats to Mike! On March 11th he bowled a perfect game in his Wednesday night league. For those of you that don't know much about bowling (like me) a perfect game is having a score of 300 for a total of 12 strikes! Aubrey and I are so excited for you and hope that you may do it again someday as it is such a rare chance!

Meeting for the First Time
This past week Mike's grandparents came down from Cleveland for a visit on their way to Florida. We were so happy to see them, since we don't get to visit with them very often. They got to meet both Aubrey and Rory for the first time. It was so sweet to get to see them with their two new great-grandaughters for the first time. We all had such a great visit and Mike and I can't wait to go see them this spring! It will be our first major road trip with Aubrey. I'm sure it will be very interesting to say the least. If you have any advice for a long roadtrip with a baby, I welcome it.

Bragging Rights
My sweet baby has been a very sick girl for the past few days and by looking at her you would never be able to tell it. Through it all she has been happy, smiling and playing. Even in the Dr.s office she smiled at everyone and didn't cry at all through her breathing treatment there or any at home. Aubrey even got a shot of cortisone and barely cried. I just wanted to take a minute to brag on my sweet girl for being so good.
Dedication Day
We had Aubrey dedicated at church last Sunday and it was a bit of a commical event. So that she would be happy when we went up front I fed her right before church started. As soon as I went to burp her over my shoulder she spit up all down my back and chest. We sit close to the front, so I could here everyone behind me gasping and laughing. Then Mike was holding her so I could clean myself up and she very loudly dirtied her diaper! Off we went to the nursery to change her diaper and while we were there they called for us to come up and we were gone. So, here comes Mike to get us and well it finally happened and went very well. It was very special for us to have Aubrey dedicated and we are truly blessed to have such a wonderful baby girl.

Time
Well it's been a while since I've updated the blog, so here are some recent pics to catch you up on how much our little princess has grown. Aubrey is 12 weeks old today and I can't believe it. At the present time she trying to roll over and she loves to talk to you and I can almost swear that she is trying to sit up by herself. Aubrey changes everyday and it is such a blessing to watch her grow. People always tell you that time flys when you have a little one, but I don't think that you can really understand how fast time does fly until you have a child of your own. Well at least that has been my experience thus far. Hopefully I will do a better job of updating the blog sooner. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Much love,
Courtney
